Introduction:-  RBI (Reserve Bank Of India) or we can say India’s Central Bank. RBI controls the monetary and other various banking policies for the Indian Government. Reserve Bank Of India is Established in 1935 in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India Act,1934 having its permanent office at Mumbai.

RBI having its primary objective to supervise and undertake initiatives for the financial sector like commercial banks, financial institutions and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) .

RBI issued recruitment notice for Grade B Officers posts through ONLINE application on three different departments – Grade B –General/DEPR/DISM- 2021.Here DEPR(Department of Economic and Policy Research) and DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management) ,Eligible Candidates can apply for these post before last date of closing of online forms. This Exam for RBI Grade B is conducted in 2 phase and interview also. Where in Phase-I There is General awareness and reasoning papers and in Phase-II containing 3 Papers in which 2 papers are based on 50% MCQs and 50% Descriptive Types Questions. Pay Scale:- One of the best point for attraction to this particular Job is his Pay scale. Selected person will get basic Pay of Rs.35150 in the Scale of 35150-1750-54400-2000-62400, with all other allowances and facilities as applicable. Grade B Approx. Initial monthly pay will be Rs. 77,200/-per month.

Eligibility:- 

(a)  Age Limits:- A candidates must have Minimum age of 21 years and Maximum age of 30 years as on the 1st January 2021.

(b) Nationality:- A Candidates must be either (i) Indian citizen or (ii) Nepal citizen or (iii) Bhutan Citizen

(c) Minimum Educational Qualification’s:-

POSTSMinimum Educational Qualifications (as on 1st of January 2021):
1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General)• Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters / years.
Note: • Candidates who have passed the Final Examination for Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India may also apply for the post OR  
• Any such full-time course from a recognised University / Institute that is taken after graduation and is at least of 2 years’ duration / recognised by the Government as equivalent to post graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination.  
2. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPREssential: 1. A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR
 2. PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR
3. Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute
3. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM1. A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years; OR
2. Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute;  OR
3. M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years; OR
4. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
