UPSC union public service commission has released notification for special recruitment drive of Dy. Director post of employee state insurance corporation, ministry of labour welfare . 1. Essential qualification for the post of dy . Director esi

A. EDUCATIONAL: 

Degree of a recognized university. 

B. EXPERIENCE: 

Three years’ experience of Administration or Accounts or Marketing or Public Relation or Insurance or Revenue or Tax related matters in a Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body. 

C. DESIRABLE: 

i) Qualified Subordinate Accounts Services, or passed Institute of Costs and Works Accounts or Master of Business Administration (Finance), or a Degree in Law. (ii) Experience in matters relating to social insurance or Labour Laws.

2. Salary of ESI DY. Director-

L10 , non ministerial and non gazetted.

3.Probation after selection As ESI Dy. Director : Two years.

4. Selection process of Dy. director in ESI 

Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT)/Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the

candidates for Interview for recruitment to the post of Deputy Director shall be conducted by the Commission.

the date of CBRT/RT to be announced later.

5.Pattern of examination of Dy. Director to shortlist 

(i) The test will be of two hours duration and will comprise two parts A and B. Part-A contains English and Part-B contains General Ability. The questions in Part-B of the paper will be set both in Hindi and English.

(ii) All questions will carry equal marks.

(iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.

(iv) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that quest

9.MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS for ESI ExamAll applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement.

NOTE-I: The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interviews 

NOTE-II: If large number of candidates apply ,selection will be made on following basis:

(a) “On the basis of Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the DQs if more than one DQ is prescribed”.

(b) On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

(c) On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

(d) By counting experience before or after the acquisition of essential qualifications.

(e) By invoking experience even in cases where there is no experience mentioned either as Essential Qualification (EQ) or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

(f) By holding a Recruitment Test

NOTE-III:-

IMPORTANT

    (i) The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.

   (ii) In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview 

 10. APPLICATION FEE for Dy. Director ESI Corporation 

(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.

(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

11. HOW TO APPLY FOR ESI DY. DIRECTOR 

i) Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
